Mactaggart Sanctuary, Edmonton - Jaden's Portrait Session

I met Jaden about 6 months ago, and I had no idea we would become friends so quickly! Her kindness and genuine heart are evident in her life and she's just adorable! I loved every moment with her on Friday night. We started out at a new place called Square 1 Coffee. YOU NEED TO GO THERE! It's the coolest. The owners were top notch and had no issues with me grabbing a few shots inside the cafe (as seen below). With an electric grand piano at your disposal and cute decor, how can you go wrong?

We started our session out in Square 1 Coffee, a GREAT new cafe located near Vernon Barford School on the southside. Check them out if you haven't been there yet!

A personal fave!

Millcreek Ravine Portraits - Shari

Meet Shari. Few know that I was one of the first people she met in Edmonton. Last summer she moved here from Winnipeg. In the process, a lot of her property was damaged by the moving company. She was staying with her sister at the time and didn't know a soul. In order to claim her damaged property, she needed a witness to sign that she was telling the truth. This is where I come in. She came into the church office, not knowing who she'd find. Well, it was me! She explained her situation and I felt terrible for her. Not only did she not know anyone yet, but she had to deal with this ordeal right when she got here. Well needless to say I signed as a witness and she was able to claim the damaged property! How fun that we are now friends! We had a good night walking through the ravine swatting mosquitoes and getting to know each other a bit better. She's kind, genuine, beautiful and has great hair! :) Truly looking forward to hanging out with her more soon!
